Explore team management →Commercial solar breaks generic CRMs
A residential pipeline is a list of names. A commercial pipeline is a building, a utility account, a demand charge, a decision maker who is not the person who answers the phone, and a proposal that has to survive a CFO. Generic CRMs have nowhere to put any of that — so it lives in spreadsheets, camera rolls, and a separate bill-analysis form that gets lost.
The bill is the deal
A commercial proposal starts with 12 months of utility data — demand charges, ratchets, time-of-use buckets, riders. Solaro reads the bill and keeps it attached to the account.
Two people, one deal
The rep who found the building is rarely the person who builds the numbers. Solaro shares the whole account — notes, contacts, history, bill — instead of a request form.
Territory is the top of funnel
Commercial reps prospect by driving and by map. Solaro turns a route into a qualified target list, not a memory.
What Solaro CRM does
Six connected parts of one sales operation
Territory & Prospecting
Search commercial businesses by map, by name, or along a driving route. Pull company intelligence from Google and, where connected, ZoomInfo. Scan a stack of business cards or a signboard and turn them into leads.
Read moreLeads & Pipeline
Fifteen pipeline stages built around commercial sales. Explicit lead ownership and sharing, folders and groups, reviewed imports, and per-rep accountability that reconciles to the same number on every screen.
Read moreCommercial Solar Tools
Utility bill analysis, system sizing, federal ITC and adder screening, and proposal generation — as one connected workflow inside the account, not four disconnected calculators.
Read moreAI Assistant
An assistant that researches prospects, reads uploaded documents, and drafts outreach, metered transparently in credits so a team knows exactly what it is spending.
Read moreCampaigns & Outreach
Reusable templates with merge fields, a review step before anything sends, bulk email delivery, click tracking, and unsubscribe handling built in rather than bolted on.
Read moreTeams & Reporting
Owner, admin and rep views. Team chat, lead assignment, leaderboards, rep analytics, and administration that scales from a solo rep to a multi-director organization.
Read moreThe workflow
One workflow, four numbered steps
Solaro’s Admin Tools run in a deliberate order, because each step feeds the next. The proposal is not a separate document you assemble by hand — it is what the first three steps produce.
1 · Bill Analysis
Upload up to five pages of a utility bill. Solaro extracts the account, service address, consumption, demand and rate structure, then reconciles the numbers against each other and flags anything that does not add up.
2 · Roof & Site
An AI-assisted site estimate returns indicative roof area, usable area, panel count and system size to start from. These are estimates for scoping, not a survey — Solaro labels them as such and expects you to override them.
3 · ITC Screening
Screen the project for the federal Investment Tax Credit and adders, including domestic content and energy-community considerations, so the incentive assumption in the proposal is traceable.
4 · Proposal
Size the system, price it at your company’s own rate per watt, run the financials, and generate a branded PDF proposal that is versioned and attached to the account.

Questions
Frequently asked
What makes Solaro CRM different from a general-purpose CRM?
The commercial solar workflow is built in, not configured on top. Utility bill extraction, system sizing, ITC screening and proposal generation are first-class features that live on the account record, alongside leads, pipeline and campaigns.
Do I need to be a large team to use it?
No. Solaro supports a solo rep on one seat and scales to organizations with multiple directors and teams. A seat is a person, not a role — someone who is both an admin and a selling rep uses one seat.
Can I use my own pricing and equipment assumptions?
Yes, and you must. Solaro deliberately ships no default price per watt. Your rate, panel wattage, production factor, losses, escalation, degradation and tax assumptions are set once in Proposal Settings and flow through every proposal your organization generates.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can start a trial without talking to sales first.
Where does my data live?
Data is separated by organization. Administrators control what their teams can see; platform staff can see operational statistics but are deliberately excluded from customer lead contents.
Ready to see it on a real bill?
Bring a commercial utility bill and a building. We will run it end to end.
